Bushfire response: Clients & services policy 2009-10
The Department of Health and the Department of Human Services have released a new policy for responding to the threat of bushfire during the 2009-10 season. It considers recommendations from the Victorian Bushfire Royal Commission Interim Report and outlines actions to be taken by each program within both department's to protect our staff, clients and services.

Summer preparedness kit
In February 2009 the state of Victoria experienced the most devastating bushfires in its history. It is bushfire season once again and it is important that we are reminded that Victoria is one of the most bushfire-prone regions in the world.
The Summer preparedness kit contains information for organisations in the health and community services sector to help them prepare for bushfires.
The kits are available from your regional office of the Department of Human Services or by downloading the information listed below.
