Consumer Centre - BreaCan
BreaCan is a Consumer-Focused Breast Cancer Resource Centre,
funded by the Department of Human Services, through BreastCare
Victoria. The purpose of BreaCan is to to enhance access to
quality support, information and resource services for women
with breast cancer, wherever they live in Victoria.
The Centre emphasises a woman-centred focus, validating the
power of women's experience and enabling consumers to directly
access resources. Consumers played a central role in the establishment
of the Centre and in the service delivery.
