Box Hill Hospital Redevelopment Project

Improving Box Hill Hospital

The Victorian Governments $447.5 million redevelopment of Box Hill Hospital began in November 2011 and includes the construction of a new ten-storey clinical services building and some refurbishment of the existing hospital.

The new building is on schedule for completion in mid-2014 and will provide improved healthcare facilities for the community.

The hospital remains operational throughout the redevelopment.

The 45 metre tall building (total area in excess of 52,000 square metres) will connect to the west wing of the hospital via an atrium and four linkways. The redevelopment will be completed in 2015 with some refurbishment of the existing hospital.
