Angliss Hospital
Angliss Ambulatory Rehabilitation Centre
Victorian Aged Care Minister Gavin Jennings opened a new $4.3 million community rehabilitation centre at Angliss Hospital, which provides general services as well as specialised services for older people in transition from hospital to home. Built as part of the Commonwealth Pathways Home program, Mr Jennings said the Angliss Community Rehabilitation Centre would improve services for people in the eastern region, particularly seniors needing support after injury or medical treatment.

Theatre 3 Upgrade & Day Procedure Unit
Angliss Hospitals commitment to improve access to surgical services has been enhanced with the completion of a $300,000 upgrade to what was previously a procedure room, to a fully functional operating theatre in the Theatres complex. Maroondah Hospital
Several projects are underway at Maroondah Hospital, providing much needed services and improved capacity to the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Medical Imaging & infrastructure upgrades
In early 2006 the hospital embarked on the Stage 2A redevelopment activity which includes the upgrade and expansion of the Medical Imaging Department and lift infrastructure. The current medical imaging department.

Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault (ECASA) Crisis Unit
The ECASA Crisis Care Unit will provide a 24 hour crisis care service that effectively meets the emotional, psychological, medical and legal needs of recent victim/survivors of sexual assaul. For more information vist Eastern Centre Against Sexual Assault (ECASA) Crisis Unit.
Dialysis Unit
The new 12-chair Dialysis Unit will be co-located with the hospital with development anticipated to commence in early to mid 2007. For more information vist Dialysis Unit.
Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit

Wantirna Health / Peter James Centre
Funded by the Victorian Government
in May 2005 to the value of $30m, the Wantirna Health Facility
will be the first all encompassing purpose designed and built
facility providing palliative care and rehabilitation services
in Eastern Health.
Located in the Shire of Knox (at the corner
of Mountain Hwy and Boronia Road) the Wantirna Health
Facility is an exciting project for the community |

Yarra Ranges Health
After much consultation with the local Council, staff from Eastern Health and Ranges Community Health Service, architects and consultants, building works at the site have commenced.

Canterbury Road Community Care Unit - Camberwell
Site establishment and construction of the new facility in Cantebury Road, Camberwell began in early November 2006. Partial demolition of the building has taken place and essential services to the site, such as plumbing, power and the like are being established.
