Kyneton’s new hospital has an emergency department, operating suite, dialysis service, maternity services, and an aged care facility – all under the one roof.

The services have been introduced to meet the needs of the community’s growing and ageing population.

New maternity services mean women can deliver their babies close to home, rather than traveling to Bendigo or Sunshine.

And a local dialysis service means that more people can have their treatment closer to home.

The hospital was purpose built on a new site, which allowed for innovative and modern design.
