E-tool templatesPage content: Service coordination | Use by service providers | Use by software developers | Download | Installation instructions | Feedback & update process | Contact Service coordination e-tool templatesBasic software versions of the Service Coordination Tool Templates (E-Tools) have been developed and are available for use by service providers and software developers. The E-Tools are available in two versions. The Microsoft Word E-Tool Templates allows for data to be entered using a Microsoft Word template and can be stored as a Microsoft Word file. The Microsoft Access E-Tool Templates allows for data to be entered using a Microsoft Access Form and can be stored in database tables. This is the first release of the E-Tools so it is expected that they will be tested for a period of three months prior to the next release. Use of the e-tools by service providersService providers without client management software applications may implement the Service Coordination Tool Templates using the E-Tools. The E-Tools allow service providers to directly enter data onto the Service Coordination Tool Templates (e.g. Consumer Information Form, Summary and Referral Form) via a computer. The E-Tool may then be stored as an electronic file and/or shared with other service providers as part of a referral. The saved file(s) could be printed, faxed via computer fax-modem and/or attached to an email. This process allows for other service providers to use the data captured by the E-Tool and transfer the data into their agency specific software application. Naturally, consideration must be given to security and privacy issues. Use of the e-tools by software developersSoftware developers can use the E-Tools to implement the Service Coordination Tool Templates in software applications. The databases of the various software applications could auto-enter consumer data into the data entry fields of the E-Tools. Download e-tools Microsoft Word e-tools (1mb, Application file)
