Clinical Issues Panel (CIP)

Terms of Reference

1. To provide advice to the Ministerial Rural and Regional Health Advisory Group on issues relating to:

the participation of the rural health sector in policy development relating to service delivery;
the development of sustainable rural and regional health professions and
the review of clinical services in rural and regional communities with the outcome being the development of quality integrated health services.

2. To meet regularly, at least four times a year, and to report at least annually to Ministers.

3. To develop a work plan and key priorities for the Group's activities in each calendar year.
