Overseas visitors

Whilst Medicare has reciprocal arrangements for hospital treatment in place with many countries, this does NOT include ambulance transport costs.

Form members of interstate ambulance subscription services

Inter-state visitors who are members of ambulance subscription schemes in their state of origin may be entitled to the same benefits as Victorian Ambulance Membership Subscription Scheme members under reciprocal arrangements. Current reciprocal arrangements should be confirmed with the relevant ambulance service.
