Falls prevention tip sheetsDeveloped by: National Ageing Research Institute Format: Information sheets The National Ageing Research Institute developed these seven tip sheets for people living in Supported Residential Services. Each tip sheet covers a different risk factor: keep active, feet and footwear, medications, environmental hazards, balance and mobility, chronic conditions and other health conditions, and vision. The tip sheets are a valuable source of information regarding the seven risk factors and can also be used by staff to discuss falls prevention issues with residents or can be provided to family members. The tips sheets can be used individually or as a set. Availability: |
