Format: Manual

This training manual outlines the aims and objectives of a peer education training program and details the role and purpose of a peer educator. The manual includes:

  • Facts about falls and falls related injuries

  • Eight major causes of falls and the strategies to reduce each of these risk factors

  • A sample outline of a talk, and

  • A range of other information related to public speaking, working with interpreters, presentation skills, brainstorming etc.
