Aboriginal health plan
The Department of Health is currently developing an Aboriginal health plan which will supersede the Aboriginal services plan. The Aboriginal services plan was a joint initiative between the Department of Health and the Department of Human Services.
The plan will be called 'Koolin balit', which means 'healthy people' in the Boonwurrung language.The Aboriginal health plan will outline how the department will improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal Victorians through partnership initiatives with the Aboriginal community. It is anticipated Koolin balit will be launched in 2012.
